Can I request a refund?
Refunds are reviewed case by case. Because many Geek Bytes products are digital downloads, software files, licence keys, website themes or website plugins, refund options may be limited once digital access has been provided.
Digital product refunds
Digital products are normally delivered instantly or made available through your account/order details. Once a digital product has been accessed, downloaded, delivered or revealed, we may be unable to offer a refund unless the item is faulty, not as described or cannot be supplied.
Faulty or missing products
If a file, code or download is faulty, missing or not working as described, contact us with your order number, product name, screenshots where useful, and a description of the issue. We will try to resolve the problem first.
Before requesting a refund
Please check your purchase history, download links, spam folder and account email address. Many delivery issues are caused by email filters, account login problems or incorrect checkout details.
Change of mind
For digital goods, change-of-mind refunds may not be available once access has been supplied. Please check product details carefully before ordering and contact us before purchase if you are unsure.
Compatibility issues
Website themes, plugins and software can depend on your device, operating system, hosting, WordPress version, other plugins, third-party services or setup. We will help where possible, but issues caused by external systems may not automatically qualify for a refund.
Marketplace purchases
If your order was placed through a marketplace such as eBay, TikTok Shop, Etsy or another platform, the refund process may need to follow that marketplace’s rules. Contact us with the platform name and order reference.
How long do refunds take?
If a refund is approved, processing times depend on the payment provider, bank or marketplace. Funds may not appear immediately after approval.
Abuse and misuse
Geek Bytes may refuse refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, repeated misuse, fraudulent activity, chargeback abuse or attempts to retain digital goods without payment.
