Chivalry 2 is an upcoming multiplayer first-person slasher game developed by Torn Banner Studios. It will be the sequel to the 2012 game, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. The game features a 64-player battlefield, allowing for massive medieval battles.
The game focuses on visceral combat and team-based objectives. On the battlefield, players can choose from an array of weapons and armor, including swords, maces, axes, shields, and bows. Players can also customize their appearance with a variety of armor pieces, helmets, and shields.
Players will be able to join historical battles, such as the Siege of Aachen, or partake in original battles in a variety of locations, ranging from castle walls to frozen wastelands. The game also includes a range of game modes, such as Duels, where two players can fight to the death in a single-elimination tournament. There are also new game modes such as Skirmish and Team Objective, which focus on team-based objectives and strategies. Chivalry 2 will also feature cross-play support between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
