Arma 3 Apex is a downloadable content (DLC) game for the popular military simulation video game Arma 3. This expansion was released in July 2016 and has been praised for its intense, realistic gameplay and for its stunning graphics. The game takes place in a South Pacific archipelago, Tanoa, which features dense jungles and open land with a variety of terrain, from rugged mountains and grassy fields to dense urban environments.
The Apex expansion brings a host of new features to the Arma 3 experience. Additionally, the Apex expansion brings a new enemy faction, the Syndikat, a private military company with their own special forces, equipment, and tactics. The Syndikat also threatens to disrupt the balance of power of Tanoa, making the battlefield ever more dangerous.
